Achievement is the fuel of life

My working day tends to be multi-faceted. As a working mom with two young daughters, I spend a good 16 hours day starting with sending my kids to school at 7:15 a.m., doing a different work-out or sport at 9 a.m. everyday except Saturday, doing office work from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a client lunch or parents lunch, then pick up kids from school at 3:30 p.m. and send them to after school activities, followed by an event or meeting, and later home by 7:30 p.m. to revise test or exams with kids after a quick dinner, put the kids to bed by 10 p.m., and wrapping up the day with a sip of wine over a movie with husband. Often times, I will stay up till 1 or 2 a.m. to clean up emails and do filing.

So I can’t get by without my phone, blackberry, car & driver, because they are the key elements in allowing me to remote control my work while I’m shuttling back and forth from one place to another.

The best thing about it is I don’t really need a physical office.  Everywhere anywhere can be my mobile office as long as I can have access to email, WhatsApp, Facebook, and make calls to clients. Often times, my car in transit is my office.

My kids think that “Mommy doesn’t have a real job” since they see me all the time and I will make sure I give them undivided attention when I’m with them.  My staff thanks me for not being in the office physically most of the time so they won’t feel like the boss is always hovering around them.

I wouldn’t give up my current lifestyle for anything. Being a full-time Mom and full-time PR expert is the best of both worlds. I live, love and balance life to the fullest.
